The journey of Walishetty Logistics began humbly in the early 1970s, when Mr. Deelip Walishetty started transporting goods with a small pickup vehicle in Mumbai. In those early days, he would load whatever was available from the local market—even items from slaughterhouses—demonstrating his unmatched determination to make a living through honest work. His turning point came in 1975, when he received his first opportunity to transport goods for Kansai Nerolac Paints. Impressed by his work ethic and integrity, the company's logistics team offered him a fixed transport contract. Thus, Walishetty Transport was born—marking the beginning of a legacy.

Over the years, one vehicle grew into a fleet. In 1995, the next generation stepped in when Mr. Vinay Walishetty moved to Mumbai to train under Mr. Deelip. After three years of dedication, Vinay was offered the opportunity to start operations in Lote MIDC for Kansai Nerolac. In 1998, he established Suhas Transport, expanding the family’s footprint into Ratnagiri district. Despite local resistance and pressure to leave, Vinay stood his ground and earned respect through resilience and perseverance.

In 1999, Mr. Mayur Walishetty joined the operations in Lote under Vinay’s mentorship. Witnessing their continued dedication, Nerolac’s senior management offered another opportunity—this time in Satara MIDC. In 2015, Mayur Transport was launched, further extending the Walishetty presence in the logistics industry.

Together, Mr. Deelip, Mr. Vinay, and Mr. Mayur—three pillars across three key regions—formed what is now known as Walishetty Logistics. Over time, the business expanded its reach into Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and Karnataka through managed operations, while the core ownership remains among the three founding members.

From one pickup in 1975 to over 40 trucks today, our journey reflects five decades of trust, loyalty, and service excellence—especially to Kansai Nerolac Paints, with whom Mr. Deelip has maintained a continuous and unmatched partnership for over 50 years.
